-1- Length and Dates of Contract

-2- Work Schedules and Remuneration

The teacher will be required to any agreed days up to five days per week.

Classes will be held any days between Monday and Saturday.

No more than 15 class contact hours will be assigned per week.

All classes will be paid at 2,000~2,500 yen per class depending on experience.


-3- Office Hours and Other Duties

This is not applicable to part time ESL teachers.


-4- Japanese Government Taxes

This is the responsibility of the part time employee and to be paid to the Japanese government in accordance with Japanese law.


-5- Overtime

This is not applicable to part time ESL teachers.


-6- Bonuses

This is not applicable to part time ESL teachers.


-7- Raises

This is not applicable to part time ESL teachers.


-8- Vacation

This is not applicable to part time ESL teachers.


-9- Training

Employees without former ESL experience will complete two weeks of training in order to familiarise themselves with company teaching materials and methods. The Employee will receive 1,500 yen per hour for all class hours attended.

Upon the successful completion of the training period, the employee will be remunerated as a part time instructor as stated in section 2.


-10- Accommodation

This is not applicable to part time ESL teachers.


-11- Apartment Key Money

This is not applicable to part time ESL teachers.


-12- Transportation

Part Time ESL Teachers will be reimbursed for daily transportation costs to and from their residence.

For any and all dispatch classes, or for any other work-related duties outside of the company, the company shall reimburse the employee for the transportation costs at months end.

Transportation reimbursement is strictly limited to public transportation of trains and buses.

Employee bears transportation costs to and from Japan.


-13- Visa Fees

This is not applicable to part time ESL teachers.


-14- Health Insurance Fees

This is the responsibility of the part time employee and to be paid to the Japanese government in accordance with Japanese law.


-15- Contract Cancellation

Refusal to follow company policy as written in the Company Policy Handbook in force on the date of signing of this contract will be just cause for contract termination. Upon termination by employer Employee is entitled to payment for all days worked before the termination of said contract.

Both employer and employee agree to providing 2 weeks written notice of intent to terminate contract prematurely. Both employer and employee will both try to resolve any disagreement with all sincerity.
